The Annual Conference
This is the main event of the year. It is usually held in May or June, and typically begins on a Friday evening and ends the following Sunday at noon.
Soon after the end of each conference, an announcement of the date and location for the next conference is made and a call for proposals along with a submission deadline is published.

The ASCSI 2013 CONFERENCE
The conference will be held at the
Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach, Va. from
Friday, May 17, 1PM to Sunday, May 19, 12PM. This years line-up includes Keynote Speaker, DR. VERNON NEPPE,
a world recognized pioneer of the disciplines of Behavioral Neurology, Neuropsychiatry,
and also on déjà experiences, as well as an internationally recognized psychopharmacologist
(impacting millions), medicolegal specialist, psychiatrist, neuroscientist,
phenomenologist, epileptologist, consciousness researcher, survival researcher, and
philosopher. He has authored numerous books, including his latest(with Dr Ed Close), Reality
Begins With Consciousness: A Paradigm Shift That Works, as well as DR. RAYMOND MOODY,
Best-Selling Author of
12 books featuring his ground-breaking work on the near-death experience, P.M. H. ATWATER,
one of the original researchers in the field of
near-death studies and author of 10 books, and KEVIN J. TODESCHI, Executive Director and
CEO of the Edgar Cayce work and a nationally recognized resource on the interpretation of
dreams.
A visit to The Edgar Cayce Association
for Research and Enlightenment (ARE) is included in the program where you will have a wonderful
opportunity to:
- visit the meditation garden with its beautiful landscaping, Japanese bridge and waterfall
- walk the 42 foot diameter labyrinth
- visit the meditation room with its ocean view, stained glass windows, and peaceful atmosphere
- visit the book store
- watch the 30 minute Edgar Cayce Legacy film
- join a 60 minute guided tour
- attend a daily lecture or activities program on topics from the Edgar Cayce readings
